Zhu Bao Temple is located at the intersection of Zhu Bao Street and Sansheng Back Street in Longting District, Kaifeng City. The temple, facing south, is an ancient building with three courtyards and cornices, showing the architectural style of combining Song and Qing Dynasties. The east and west sides are next to the second floor of the bell and drum. The front yard is in the center of Daxiong Hall, dedicated to Hua Yan and Guanyin Island. In the middle of the backyard is Zhaopu Building, and upstairs is the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, which is dedicated to a reclining Buddha statue of Myanmar jade carving and a China Tripitaka donated by the Buddha Foundation of Taiwan Province Province.
The predecessor of Zhu Bao Temple is the Women's Forest of Henan Buddhist Association, which was founded by contemporary centenarians. At present, there are more than ten monks living in the temple, all of whom have a junior high school education or above and are devout. All monks follow the rules of jungle life. I went to the temple in the morning and evening, went to the church at two o'clock and stayed in Busan for half a month. I take precepts as my teacher, live in harmony with * * *, and have orderly Buddhist activities, such as Dharma and Dharma.
In the quiet and elegant temple, cigarettes are around, Bai Fan bells are ringing, and the solemn and clean atmosphere makes people feel different. Buddhists, pilgrims and tourists are constantly coming, and the number of converts is increasing day by day. Zhu Bao Temple is indeed the pure land in the city and the treasure of Kaifeng, the ancient capital.
