Second, the procedure.

(1) individual application. The Township People's Government (street) may, on the basis of the evaluation of the village (neighborhood) people's representative meeting, investigate and verify the applicant's medical expenses and family economic status and other related materials by means of household surveys, neighborhood visits and letters and evidence collection, and put forward rescue opinions and report them to the county-level civil affairs department if they meet the conditions for assistance.

(four) the county civil affairs department for examination and approval. The civil affairs department at the county level shall review the relevant materials submitted by the township (street) and sign the examination and approval opinions in time. For families who meet the conditions of medical assistance, the amount of medical assistance shall be approved, and for those who do not meet the conditions of medical assistance, the applicant shall be notified in writing and the reasons shall be explained.
