In order to meet the medical needs of the surrounding residents, the hospital has set up a comprehensive business department to arrange experts to sit and consult. At the same time, in view of the characteristics of many surrounding factories and mines, dense population, high incidence of road traffic accidents and accidental injuries, a trauma emergency center was established.
In order to meet the needs of Qingdao's economic and social development and further improve the capacity building of emergency handling of public health emergencies in Qingdao, the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to relocate Qingdao Chest Hospital as a whole. The planned new hospital covers an area of about 450 mu with 2000 beds. By then, the hospital will be built into a Qingdao public health medical center integrating infectious disease treatment, scientific research, education and emergency work.
