In order to ensure the safety and smoothness of expressways during the May Day holiday and avoid serious traffic accidents and long-distance and large-area traffic jams, according to the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Highway Traffic Safety in Shandong Province, the traffic police detachment of Liaocheng Public Security Bureau hereby announces the temporary holiday control measures and other related matters as follows:
1. During holidays, dangerous chemicals transport vehicles are prohibited from passing through the expressways in the city. Dangerous chemicals transport vehicles that transport fuel for gas stations in service areas need to hold a temporary expressway pass issued by the Highway Traffic Police Detachment of Liaocheng Public Security Bureau, and pass by the designated time and route.
2. From April 30th to May 4th, Liaocheng High-speed Traffic Police Detachment will take timely measures to prohibit medium and heavy trucks from entering the expressway according to the traffic flow and road congestion.
3. From April 30th to May 4th, all expressways are forbidden to occupy roads for construction, and all construction equipment will be withdrawn from expressways before April 29th. Need temporary emergency rescue, reported to the high-speed traffic police detachment for approval before construction.
Drivers and passengers are requested to pay attention to Liaocheng high-speed traffic police official Weibo, WeChat, Today Headline and Tik Tok, pay attention to the information prompts on electronic display screens along the expressway, use navigation software to obtain real-time traffic information, and plan travel routes in advance.
