There is no charge for inter-bank inquiries on CITIC Bank’s debit and credit cards.

On April 6, 2007, the Standing Committee of the Self-Discipline Working Committee of the China Banking Association passed a resolution requiring all member banks to stop charging cardholders for inter-bank inquiry fees at domestic ATMs with RMB bank cards before the 20th of this month. ;

The specific stop date is determined by each bank based on the time required for its own system adjustment;

Currently, all banks do not charge any fees for inter-bank inquiries.
